Question:

What is the role of the ombudsman?

A Work with the nursing home to protect patient rights
explanation

An ombudsman is a trained advocate for customers’ rights in a long-term care facility. They assist customers and their families with any issues or disagreements that happen at the facility, for instance, inadequate services, lack of privacy, poor food quality, or problems with other residents. If the customer or family is unable to resolve a problem with the staff, an ombudsman can negotiate on their behalf, and find other resources to help them as well.

There are definitely a few mistakes in this app, some of the answers are just plain wrong so make sure this is not your only source of study material. Other than that this app is very helpful.

I would love to give this app 5 stars but in the Nursing Skills section it does not allow you to go on to part 7. After you get to part 6 it either just never loads or it tells you to go to part 7 and does absolutely nothing.
